BACK TO SCHOOL CAMPAIGN BRANDING + PACKAGING

The OfficeMax Back To School campaign featured a playful packaging style to turn shopping for mundane school supplies into a fun experience for kids and parents alike.

The OfficeMax private brand, Schoolio, is refreshed each year to coincide with the OfficeMax Back To School campaign. The brand covers multiple categories, including multiple product designs. The objective is to create modern, cool packaging that attracts, engages and impresses the BTS student (ages 8–16). The packaging communicates product functionality to gain confidence with the parent but also has level of fun for kids.

TUL PACKAGING REDESIGN

TUL writing instruments represents OfficeMax’s first design-based private label brand. The packaging is deliberately clean and sophisticated, with the copy text kept intentionally short and straightforward. The pens are silver, sleek and understated, fashioned to resemble high-end executive writing instruments.
